For those of you looking for a new hatke dining experience, India's first underwater restaurant, Real Poseidon, may be right up your alley. That is, if you're willing to travel all the way to Ahmedabad.

The 32-seater restaurant opens its doors to diners on February 1 and offers a culinary experience like no other. According to reports, Real Poseidon is built 20 feet below ground level and offers its diners a view of over 4000 species of fish all around it.

The menu at Real Poseidon offers a wide variety of cuisines including Indian, Thai, Chinese and Mexican. However, the only fish available at restaurant are the ones you can look at while dining. The restaurant only offers an all-vegetarian dining experience.

"Guests only need to take the stairs down to a tunnel-based dining hall of 1,200 square feet, where they can dine while enjoying the view. While there could be aquarium-based restaurants in Surat, we feel this is the first underwater restaurant in the city," restaurant owner Bharat Bhatt told Indian Express.

The Ahmedabad-based businessman conceived the idea of the underwater restaurant while talking to his son about it, reports ANI. He then started work on the restaurant and two years later it became a reality.
