An Indian software engineer at Amazon's Dublin office recently broke down his cost of living and savings in an Instagram video with content creator Umang Chaudhary. In the clip captioned, 'Software Engineer from India working at Amazon, Dublin shares his income, expenses and savings estimates', the techie explained why Dublin was an ideal base for expats while revealing exactly how much he managed to save during a typical month.
Quizzed about his current role and workplace, the techie stated: "I work in Dublin as a software developer engineer, and yeah, it's the Amazon office is in Dublin."

Indians In Ireland
In recent years, Ireland, and particularly Dublin, has emerged as a premier hub for Indian students and professionals. For the 2024-25 academic year, Indian student enrolments surged by 30 per cent year-on-year, reaching a record high of approximately 13,000 students, according to a report in Economic Times.
This growth was fueled by Ireland's status as the only English-speaking country in the EU and its world-class education system, with six universities ranked among the top 500 globally.
