Coinciding with Kangana Ranaut's birthday, Thalaivi's trailer launched yesterday and was surrounded by much excitement and anticipation. In the 3 minute-long trailer, Kangana is seen essaying the role of late politician and film actress Jayalalithaa and is directed by A.L. Vijay in the movie which is set to release last month. Kangana also turned the moment into a fashion statement when she looked magnificent for the occasion in an Anamika Khanna saree. The blush pink sheer drape was dotted with bead work and paired with a gold embellished blouse. Kangana wore it with a Manoj And Dev choker necklace and her hair left wavy.
