While we haven't seen Ameesha Patel on-screen for a few years now, we suddenly saw a lot of her on social media lately. It wasn't just her birthday post for Hrithik Roshan - with whom Ameesha debuted in 2000 film Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai - from a few days ago that caught our attention, but also the several pictures Ameesha posted from her recent trip to London. And the thing we noticed about her photos was the number of designer labels she was wearing in them. Ameesha's apparent love for luxury brands is accompanied by what clearly seems to be a 'more is more' fashion mantra - in a couple of looks, the 42-year-old actress piles the designer pieces; just one is certainly not enough.
While you'll find Ameesha casually donning Burberry t-shirts, Dior sunglasses and toting Louis Vuitton luggage cases, her heart seems to belong to Gucci. From chilly London, Ameesha gave us a glimpse of the well-stocked Gucci store and a few designer picks that caught her fancy. In the next few shots, it seems like she bit the bullet and took home some of the Gucci goodies that she had her eye on. Here, she flaunts her brand new scarf, of which she seems particularly thrilled that the brand's 'I' has been replaced by a tongue-in-cheek 'Y'.
Here's one of the looks in which Ameesha maxes her luxe items - a Louis Vuitton scarf, a cobalt Hermes bag and knee-high black Gucci boots. Looks like this one's winter ready and how.
Topping off her slew of Gucci goods, is a fanny pack that she pairs with a colour-blocked look and large sunglasses. Fanny packs are back and Ameesha's right on the money with her exquisite navy blue one.

This wasn't Ameesha's first encounter with Gucci. Back in October 2017, she thanked the design house for a Diwali gift, which could be what began Ameesha's love for the brand.

With minimalist branding so 2000-and-late, designers like Louis Vuitton and Gucci are striking it big with their monogram patterns and emblazoned logos. Gucci especially has become a hot favourite of editors, film stars and bloggers in the past few years and is now a permanent street style fixture. Gucci's 2018 Cruise collection brought about an alternative spelling to the luxury designer name. So don't be appalled if you see genuine goodies spelled with 'Guccy' 'Guccify' or 'Guccification' - that's just a play on the ye old spelling of the name and a wink at the designer knock-offs that it inspires.
We're expecting Ameesha Patel to give us a designer round-up once again when a new collection hits. After all, a girl can never have too many bags, you know.
