After her 2017 film Haseena Parkar, Shraddha Kapoor will now be seen in Stree which is set to release on August 31. Needless to say, Shraddha Kapoor is pulling no punches when it comes to promoting her first release of 2018. Shraddha has been attending one event after another to promote her upcoming film, often alongside her co-star Rajkummar Rao. While Shraddha's style has always been real and relatable, we found her going a little over-the-top in the style department while promoting Stree. Her sartorial choices have definitely been 'unconventional' the last few weeks, and her pick of accessories has been slightly overwhelming. Perhaps it's only because she's trying to stay as close as possible to her character in Stree, which is meant to be a horror comedy.
Amid all the confusing and OTT choices that Shraddha has been making, she stepped out for dinner with a few friends wearing a simple white crop top and skirt co-ord set. Post her promotions for the day in the same pleated skirt and top from Ankita Studio, Shraddha spent the evening at a restaurant in Mumbai. She paired her outfit with kolhapuri chappals, silver jhumkas and thick wooden bangles. What stood out, really, as it has if you ask us through the promotions of Stree, were Shraddha Kapoor's free flowing locks. No matter what her outfit, Shraddha has allowed her long hair to just flow in their natural wavy texture. There's definitely something to be said about a star who isn't afraid to flaunt her hair in all its frizzy glory.
Her debut film might have proven to be a success already, but that isn't stopping Janhvi Kapoor and the rest of team Dhadak from going out and continuously interacting with their audience. Janhvi, along with her co-star Ishaan Khatter and director Shashank Khaitan visited the Whistling Woods International Institute in Mumbai yesterday.
Much like Shraddha, Janhvi's choice of outfit was also a white on white co-ord set. Janhvi chose to wear a white top with white pants. While her outfit was simple and chic, once again what stood out for us was Janhvi's fuss-free hairdo. With bare minimum styling, Janhvi allowed her hair to just be as they are. She also opted for a no-makeup look. A bold step for a Bollywood actor - but Janhvi looks splendid as it is.
Thanks to Janhvi and Shraddha, we're beginning to think that frizzy hair is not so bad, after all. It might not be a monsoon boon, but it's clearly no curse either.
