Mira Rajput's Beauty Tips For Glowing Skin And A Glossy Pout At Home

Bollywood celebrity Mira Rajput has long been known as a fabulous mom-of-two, stylista and star wife to Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor. But a skinfluencer too? You got that right. Mira, an active Instagrammer with a following of more than a million, filmed a vlog where she spoke about balancing her beauty routine in her busy life, consuming beauty thoughtfully and her skincare favourites that give glowing skin and a glossy pout. A beauty hack she used herself was combining an apricot meal mask and clay mask in one with rose water and applying it as a quick solution to both exfoliate the skin and nourish it. Mira used the Pahadi Local Gutti Khal and Markalak for this step.

A few beauty products she rotates through the year are serum, toning water and day cream. On days when it's a bit humid or the weather is changing is when Mira reverts to using a toner for her skin. She's fond of Forest Essentials' philosophy of Ayurveda with science and uses their Rasa serum, Tejal balancing water and Date & Litchi cream. Finishing off her look is a balmy lip tint from bespoke brand Tinge Cosmetics in the shade Caramel Stone.

Another time showed us her bare beauty was when she looked fresh-faced with a post-workout routine of cleansing her skin with a scrub and a gua sha tool. She called face massages the game changer for her skin and followed this step with face cream from Forest Essentials.

#BareBeauty #GetTheGlow One of the upsides of this lockdown for me has definitely been that my skin (unlike us all) gets to take a vacay and go absolutely bare. Since I often get messages asking me about what I do for my skin, I thought I'd share some of my at-home rituals with you all. And yes, I like to make a ritual out of it because it's fun to play around with different combinations of products and tools and helps to tick that self-care box when it comes to the Ayurvedic concept of Dincharya. I don't obviously have the entire day to keep preening over myself, but a few minutes every evening (Peppa to the rescue) to look after oneself is essential to look and feel sane. Today was quite simple. I used a Fruit Scrub from Forest Essentials after I finished my evening workout to cleanse my skin. I don't always use abrasive products on my skin but I just ordered this so had to try it out. Followed it up with a Brightening Emulsion again by Forest Essentials and used my Purearth Kwansa coin to really work it into my skin. Then I massaged it with a technique that doesn't quite have a name because it's bits and bobs of what I've picked up from videos I've seen. Whatever method you use, always remember to drain the lymph. Adding a face massage to my skin care routine has been a game changer.
