The colour of your skin does not define you. If you have a personality that speaks for itself, the colour of your skin does not matter. If there is anyone in the recent past who has made a strong case for this in our part of the world, then that is undoubtedly Bollywood youngling, Suhana Khan. Trolled for her dusky skin tone, which we're mildly obsessed with, Suhana Khan arrives in her crowning moment in style as the brand-new face for beauty giant, Maybelline. Suhana Khan attends her first media event ahead of her Bollywood debut, Archies, set to release this year and looks astonishing to nobody's surprise. The young star takes the power route with her personal youthful spin to it in a cropped red pantsuit that allows her abs to be noticed too. She pairs her red cropped blazer and trousers with sparkly golden platform heels and small stud earrings, you know, her usual minimal chic suspects. Her dewy complexion, soft smokey eyes and softly curled hair are evident why she is a beauty icon in her own realm too.

Suhana Khan in the city
The new commercial is fresh and vibrant with the other Maybelline girls alongside Suhana, badminton champ PV Sindhu, entrepreneur Ananya Birla and supermodel cop Eksha Kerung. This Maybelline commercial, even in its youthful take on the current beauty trends keeps it real. The Fit Me range by the brand was aimed at women of colour to find the right 'fit' for their skin that was readily available and didn't burn a hole in the pocket. It is safe to say that Brown has never looked more beautiful before as Maybelline's fresh new faces school us in it. Fans were quick to notice Suhana holding a shade that even though it existed from the time of its inception, was never brought to the limelight before. A special shoutout to Eksha Kerung who represents the Northeast in her own stylish way.
