Malavika Mohanan's red saree kickstarted Thangalaan promotions in style

Malavika Mohanan's stunning saree choices never fail to leave us in awe and her latest red and gold woven number is no exception. Known for her impeccable taste in ethnic wear, Malavika once again dazzled her fans, embodying pure elegance and charm. Her traditional look in this gorgeous saree reminds us why we love the simple and elegant looks more than anything else. This time, the actress shone in a plain, chiffon red-coloured saree as she started the promotions for her upcoming film Thangalaan. In the photos she shared on Instagram, she poses for the camera in a look inspired by her character in the film. "Kickstarting Thangalaan promotions in Aarathi's colour and Amma's Jewellery (my lucky charm)," read her caption. She stands in all elegance as in the red, translucent saree with a thin golden border. She paired it with a half-sleeved, plain, round-neck matching blouse.

For her makeup, Malavika Mohanan kept it equally simple and low-key. She looked beautiful with just a dash of blush on her cheeks, along with kohl-rimmed eyes and berry lip shade. She kept her hair open and completed the look with an elongated bindi. To accessorise, she opted for a pair of golden jhumkas, just one pearl bangle in each of her hands and a chunky, statement ring.

Remember when Malavika Mohanan walked out in a saree with golden zari patti borders? The chequered zari patterns with delicate motifs added an extra edge to it. The silk fabric also had a natural sheen to it, adding to the overall glamour manifold.

It is not just the simple and effortless saree looks that the actress has mastered. On the occasion of Diwali last year, she looked extra glamorous in a shimmery sequined Manish Malhotra couture. She paired it with a strappy halter neck blouse.

Malavika Mohanan also taught us how to shine bright in a classic silk drape. The white number has gold chequered detail, along with a delicate zari border. She wore it with an equally elegant golden blouse.

Malavika Mohanan seems to take it up a notch every time in the traditional attire and we just can't wait to see more of her looks in the coming days.
