Life is better on an island, wouldn't you agree? There's the sun, the sand and the blue, blue skies always surrounding you. And if you're as fashionable as Rakul Preet Singh, there's always the style quotient tailor-made for the tropics. The gorgeous actress is spending her days in Bollywood's favourite destination currently. No prizes for guessing; it's Maldives. In her latest photo, Rakul is seen striking a pose in a black swimsuit with a low cut neckline. She sat on the railing of a pier while palm trees danced behind her. Over it she layered a black and white long sleeve coverup with red prints. Reflective cat eye sunglasses were all she wore with it and really, all she needed with that island glow she's got going on.
A day ago, Rakul gave us a glimpse of the beauty of the Maldives along with her outfit. With the glorious sea in her background, she soaked in the sun wearing a sunny yellow strap co-ord set and fitted maxi skirt. Don't miss her straw sun hat which truly tied her outfit together. The yellows and blues of this picture is certainly putting us in a summer mood already.

But the truth is, Rakul doesn't need the sea to whip out her swimsuits. She mixed and matched her look when she wore a striped bikini with a wrap skirt and coverup in muted tones that formed part of the same colour palette. With a few delicate rings, neutral makeup and her hair left loose, it was a win for team minimal chic and we simply cannot get enough.
