What's the wackiest thing you can find on the Internet today? It's not the cat memes anymore. ICYMI, Balenciaga is back to making headlines. But this time it's a bit controversial. The luxury fashion brand is known for its spectacular collection and is endorsed by several top-notch celebrities for their red carpet appearances. What could've possibly gone wrong this time? Well, it's the latest collection of Balenciaga Paris sneakers that was launched this Monday. It's a collection of sneakers that have been severely worn out and heavily distressed. The limited-edition “extra destroyed” sneakers come at a mind-boggling price of $1,850 (Rs 1.42 lakh approx). Apart from this, the brand will sell unlimited less-destroyed sneakers at $495 (Rs 38,000 approx) and $625 (Rs 48,000 roughly) in two different styles.
