Working from home can almost feel like a holiday. No drudgingly commuting to office in packed trains, no ironing your clothes hurriedly before dashing off and no lugging your heavy laptop bag all the way. With the additional time and flexibility however, the balance between your work life and personal life can take a hit. 1. Don't Work In Bed

It may be tempting to log into work without even leaving your bed but it isn't a good idea. Designate a table top or chair in your room as a work station so that the boundaries between sleeping and working do not get wavered.

2. Stick To Your Schedule

Though you may be home, you must not be expected to work all through the day. Stick to the schedule you follow when you're in office and inform your colleagues of the same if they continue expecting work to be done long past end time every single day.

3. Draw The Lines

Because work is moving slowly in the afternoon, don't take a short nap. When you're running through documents, don't chop vegetables for dinner. Keep the lines between work and home clear so even the tasks for each part are done in the time designated for it.

4. Change Your Clothes

Once you get out of bed, change your clothes. They don't necessarily have to be the outfit you wear to office but even simply a change of shorts or t-shirts can shift your mindset greatly.

5. Take Your Breaks

Don't get so involved with work that you end up eating your meals by your laptop or skipping them altogether. Once it's lunchtime, sit aside with your plate and a good book or partner to draw the line for yourself that this a break.
