Shraddha Kapoor's promotional spree for her upcoming film Stree has been quite a style ride for those keeping an eye out. Wearing things that may be called radical and experimental to things which were an absolute no-no, Shraddha gave us a series of fashion hits and misses. But yesterday, Shraddha wore something that had us going "Yay!" in a heartbeat; and if we can take the liberty to say this - we think she has found her style - and it is pretty desi.

Wearing a fuchsia pink anarkali by the brand Bageecha Banaras, Shraddha looked absolutely beautiful. The indigenous brand, with clothes made by the finest weavers of Varanasi, is known for its collection of Indian wear in bright colours and Benarasi designs. Shraddha carried off the bright pink like a boss; and thankfully, as the outfit was heavy, the actress kept the jewellery and makeup minimal.
Off late, Shraddha has been wearing a lot of things that can be called edgy, but the effect of which sometimes went a little awry. She wore a co-ord set with a crop top on top of it, which didn’t have quite the quirky appeal it could have had.
But nothing beats the time she went overboard with a patchwork lehenga with statement earrings and looked absolutely over-the-top, and needlessly so.
However, the desi look is something Shraddha rocks the best (when she isn’t going overboard, that is). A nice lehenga, a skirt with a crop top paired with statement earrings, a nose ring and kohled eyes works perfectly for Shraddha. We saw that when she wore this AM:PM outfit.
Well, here’s hoping to see a lot more of Shraddha channelling her desi vibes.
