With Navratri the official festive season in India has begun. The festival celebrates the nine avatars of Goddess Durga on the nine-day long celebration. A very interesting thing followed is that every day of the festival denotes a colour and people dress up in that colour. The colour of the day is green, which symbolises nature, and signifies the sense of growth, peace, fertility and tranquility. Madhuri Dixit looked graceful in a gorgeous green saree from Raw Mango. Her ethnic drape featured intricate embellishments and zari work at the borders. She paired it with a green blouse featuring golden motifs all over. The actor picked traditional jhumkas and bangles, as the only accessories. Her subtle makeup was also on point.

While promoting Brahmastra, Alia Bhatt was seen wearing a beautiful anarkali in green. The full-sleeved green kurta had a heavy gold border and was paired with a blue dupatta. The actor teamed the outfit with a pair of heeled kolhapuris. Tying her tresses in an updo, Alia adorned the bun with a gajra and picked a pair of jhumka earrings.

Adorning a mint green organza saree from the ace designer Manish Malhotra for SIIMA Awards 2022 was Rhea Chakraborty. The mint coloured sheer saree featured multicoloured embroidery in pastel hues of beige, pink, green at the borders. The actor teamed the saree with a strappy backless blouse which showcased sequined details, delicate embellishments and beadwork. Rhea accessorised the look with a pair of studded dangling statement earrings and opted for subtle makeup.

Sonali Bendre recently wore a green salwar kameez set from Anita Dongre's collection and looked absolutely gorgeous. The short-sleeved green kurta had heavy embroidery and zari work with printed motifs in gold. The actor teamed it with a breezy chiffon dupatta with zari borders. Sonali wore a choker necklace, traditional earrings, bangles and a statement ring to complement her ethnic look.

Tamannaah Bhatia's green Tarun Tahiliani saree on the streets of Melbourne looked quite exquisite. The lush green saree looked sassy and chic as the actor neatly draped it. Adding a modern twist to the ensemble, the actor wore a cutout blouse with the outfit in the same shade of green. Keeping the look monochromatic, Tamannaah picked a pair of green earrings with the drape. Tying her mane in a messy bun, the actor wore minimal glam makeup with shimmering eyelids, kohl-laden eyes and pink lip colour.
