Manisha Koirala has been an ace actress for quite some time now. The only thing is that we haven't seen it on the silver screen for a while. I remember being a kid and watching Bombay, I was blown away by the actress dancing to Kehna Hi Kya, the sheer emotion on her face and the finesse with which she acted. And then there was Khamoshi, and we were sold. So it doesn't come as a surprise that Manisha Koirala received the Most Versatile Actress Award by the Dadasaheb Phalke Film Foundation last weekend. Manisha Koirala was last seen in a movie that garnered her huge praise, Dear Maya. Not just that, the actress is a constant source of good vibes for her followers on social media.
But all that aside, Manisha is very quintessentially beautiful. I have long believed that she has an old world charm that reflects elegance and innocence at the same time.
For the award function, Manisha was the epitome of all that. In a beautiful black saree with gold work and a red border, she looked beautiful and classy. The Ritu Kumar saree was rich in its embroidery.

What stood out though were the roses she decked her hair with, and the bold red lips, all paired with gold jhumkas.
Attending the award function with her were her parents.

Manisha Koirala is next going to be seen in Raju Hirani's biopic Sanju, as Sanjay Dutt's mother, Nargis Dutt. Manisha and Sanjay Dutt have shared the screen in movies such as Kartoos, Sanam, and Yalgaar. A cancer survivor herself, we are sure she will bring in a unique touch to her performance in the movie.
Diagnosed with ovarian cancer back in 2012, Manisha Koirala has gone on record to say that to conquer cancer, she stayed positive throughout her journey, and now she has been cancer-free since 2015. Her fight and her resolution to use her celebrity status to educate people about cancer and spread awareness has been appreciated far and wide.
We hope that the awards keep coming Manisha's way and that she keeps stunning us with more beautiful looks.
But what we hope for the most is to see Manisha Koirala on the silver screen more often.
