While Sitara Ghattamaneni's throwback picture only gives you a glimpse of what a Parisian vacation could look like, we have pulled together a list of a few must-visits if you plan on visiting this capital city of France.

Eiffel Tower

First up, the most popular tourist choice. You cannot kick-start your Paris tour without visiting the majestic structure. What you likely already know is that the iconic site gives you a priceless aerial view of the entire city. But apart from that, you can enjoy those picturesque views from the Tower's first-floor fine dining restaurant, one of many at the site. Or if fine wine and food are not your style, you can ice skate at the recently opened rink on the same floor. Other attractions include vertiginous views through a glass flooring, a museum on the Tower's history and watching a film on the Tower's history, projected onto seven screens. Night visits are the most popular as you can witness the city of lights in all its glory.

Luxembourg Gardens

One of the lesser-known and yet one of the most gorgeous locations in the city, Luxembourg Gardens is located in the heart of Paris. Not far from the Arc is a chance to see authentic French Cabaret in action at the Lido or enjoy fresh crepes and macarons at cafes that line the Champs-Elysées avenue which leads to the monument.
