2. Use Blotting Papers

The blotting papers are your saviours on sunny summer days when you need to move around in the city. Always carry thin blotting papers on the go. In case your skin becomes too oily and greasy gently tap these thin sheets on the affected areas, and the stickiness goes away instantly. Avoid excessive use of the blotting papers as they may wipe out essential oils too.

3. Use Toners

Do not skip the use of toners. Toners play a very important role in keeping the skin calm, shrinks open pores and helps to control the excessive oil production. Toners remove excess oil from the skin and cleanses and refines enlarged pores too.

4. Use Face Masks

Start using natural face masks like those made from multani mitti or sandalwood. These face masks tend to give your skin a mattifying effect by soaking up excess oil from the face while removing impurities and soothing the summer skin.

5. Avoid Washing Face Too Often

Your skin has its own ways of telling your body if it needs something. When you wash your face too often with water, it dries out the face and signals your body to produce more oil as the face loses the much-needed moisture. So it does the opposite of saving your face from extra oil and you tend to get oily skin after washing it several times.
