Quick And Easy To Make Summer Drinks
Sit back, relax and enjoy the variety of summer coolers that we bring to you this season.
1. Pudina Cooler
One of the hot favourites in summers, this drink is quick, simple but no less tasty. To prepare this, pour some water into powdered jaggery and allow it to melt over moderate heat. Next, make a smooth paste by blending some mint leaves, green coriander, a small piece of ginger, 2-3 cardamoms, and a teaspoon of lemon juice. Once the jaggery paste has come down to room temperature, strain it and add the mint paste to it. Mix well. Refrigerate the mixed pudina cooler for 2 hours, and serve chilled.
2. Cherry Cooler
Summers are incomplete without this rich cherry-flavored squash. To prepare, purée a cup of pitted cherries in a blender, and add a teaspoon of sugar to it. You can also add honey as an alternative. Next, boil a cup of strong hibiscus tea, and allow it to cool. Once it has come to room temperature, add the cherry paste to the hibiscus tea, and serve over ice and garnish with cherries.
3. Peach Ginger Iced Tea
This refreshing drink is what you need to rejuvenate on one of those scorching afternoons. Mash 3-4 peach halves and pure them in a blender with some sugar syrup. Next, to add some zing to your drink, add a tablespoon of grated ginger and muddle them in a pitcher. Add some crushed ice and 4 cups of iced tea, and voila, your innovative summer cooler is ready!
4. Watermelon Coconut Cooler
This drink is best enjoyed after a heavy meal or as a post-dinner beverage. Blend 6-7 cups of frozen cubed watermelon with 8 ounces of lemon vodka, and 2 cups of coconut juice. Muddle them well and serve in a tall glass over crushed ice cubes with watermelon wedges.
