Kolkata: Schoolgirls fall ill after mid-day meal

Kolkata: About 60 girls were taken ill after consuming the mid-day meal at their government school in Kolkata's Behala area.

40 girls had to be rushed to a government hospital nearby, where they are recovering from suspected food poisoning.

The government has ordered an enquiry and promised action once the report is out.
