SBI PO Prelims Result 2017 Can Be Expected On 17 May

State Bank of India (SBI) will announce the preliminary exam result on 17 May 2017, as per the official recruitment notification released by the Bank on 6 February 2017. Those of you have appeared for the exam, can now expect the SBI PO prelims result on the date mentioned above. In addition to this, you must also start preparing for the main examination which is scheduled to be held on 4 June 2017. The admit card for SBI PO main exam will be available for candidates to download from 22 May 2017
The main exam will comprise of 155 objective type questions along with a descriptive paper
The objective type will carry a total of 200 marks covering questions from Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness and English Language
Total time duration of the exam is 3 hours (for objective and descriptive test together); however each section will have separate timing
Descriptive paper will be of 50 marks and will be evaluated for those who qualify the objective test
There will be penalty for wrong answer and the rules are same that of the preliminary exam
Unlike preliminary exam, centres for SBI PO main exam will be limited in number
