Srinagar: A Territorial Army soldier in Jammu and Kashmir is suspected to have left his unit with an AK-47 rifle and joined terrorists. Zahoor Ahmad Thokar has been missing since last night from his camp in Baramulla.

The police said a massive search has been launched for him.

Thokar, who is from Pulwama, has allegedly taken, besides the AK rifle, three magazines.

He was in the Engineering wing of 173 Battalion of the Territorial Army, the police say.
