A high-speed Porsche car collided with a divider on Mumbai's Western Express Highway late last night, leaving the vehicle badly damaged and its driver seriously injured.

The incident occurred at around 2:30 am near Gundawali Metro Station, with all three cars involved in the accident heading towards Bandra.
According to Mumbai Police sources, the Porsche was driven by a man who had left from Mira Road at night and two BMW cars were on Jogeshwari–Vikhroli Link Roadthe road at the time.
Police said a total of six friends were travelling in three vehicles, heading towards Bandra to attend a birthday party.
An FIR has been registered against the Porsche driver, and blood samples have been taken to determine whether he was under the influence of alcohol.
The police sources also clarified that the CCTV footage has been checked and there was no racing between the cars at the time of the crash.
