Omar Abdullah Wishes Speedy Recovery To Syed Ali Shah Geelani

Srinagar/New Delhi: Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah today prayed for the "speedy recovery" of senior Hurriyat Conference leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani shortly after he was admitted in a Delhi hospital.

"Just heard about SAS Geelani having taken ill, admitted to the ICU in a Delhi hospital. Prayers for his speedy recovery," Mr Abdullah posted on Twitter.

Mr Geelani was admitted to Max hospital in south Delhi today morning after he complained of chest pain and breathlessness.

"In the morning Geelani sb complained of chest pain and was admitted at Max hospital new delhi. He is stable and under treatment, prayers are needed," wrote Mr Geelani's son, Syed Naseem.
