Mumbai:
Days after the Congress-NCP alliance won the elections in Maharashtra, the state is yet to get its new Cabinet, as the deadlock over berth-sharing continues.
The two parties are yet to decide on the number of berths.
Sources have, however, said that they could be heading towards a deal with the Congress keeping 22 portfolios and the NCP getting 20, though it's not yet final.
Another key obstacle is that the NCP has refused to part with the crucial home portfolio. For now, joint talks are on hold and the parties are holding internal meetings.
