Jairam Ramesh's 'deadly' humour

New Delhi: Environment Minister Jairam Ramesh has lately come under attack not only from activists and industrialists, but also his Cabinet colleagues. And today, he didn't mind a laugh at his own expense.

While looking at a presentation for more eco-friendly cremation systems, the minister joked that many people would want him in the crematorium.

"I am sure there will be many people hoping eagerly that I be the first candidate for this crematorium. In fact I am going for a meeting and there will be a lot of people hoping me to be the first candidate for this Harit Moksha and they will get moksha for Harit Mantralaya," Jairam Ramesh said.
