Jammu:
One of two big encounters in Jammu and Kashmir has ended. The encounter in Bandipora ended on Wednesday evening after both militants involved were killed, including a top commander of Hizbul Mujahideen.
The Indian Army lost Major Suresh Suri and a jawan, while three others were injured.
In Rafiabad the gun battle began on Tuesday. Two security personnel, including one marine commando, have been killed; three armymen have been injured. Two militants have been killed so far.
