New Delhi:

India, on Friday, handed over more evidence to Pakistan on the 26/11 attacks. Sources say the latest dossier gives details of 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed's involvement in the terror attacks.

India maintains that Saeed's role hasn't been investigated at all and that those  arrested, are so far, small clogs in the wheel.

The dossier also gives key evidence provided by Kasab's confessional statement in court in which he has named Saeed.

After receiving the document, Pakistan said it will be handed over to the Interior Ministry for examination.

A statement from the Foreign Office spokesman said that "some material pertaining to the terrorist attack in Mumbai" was handed over to Pakistan's High Commissioner Shahid Malik by Indian Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao during a meeting in New Delhi on Friday s.

"Arrangements are being made for the receipt of the material here. Once received, the material will be forwarded to the Interior Ministry for examination," the statement said.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi told reporters in his hometown of Multan that Pakistan will examine the fresh Indian dossier as and when it reaches the country.

"Our legal experts will examine the new Indian dossier to see whether it is legally tenable," he said when he asked to comment on the fresh dossier handed over to Pakistan's High Commissioner.
