Jaipur:
An ex-servicemen today shot dead his wife, a mother of three, allegedly after a quarrel over his extra-marital affair in Rajasthan's Bharatput district, police said.
The 35-year-old victim, Baby, had a quarrel with her husband Mahipal last night over the issue.
She left the house this morning to go to her parents' house and was waiting for a bus at Deeg when the accused opened fire at her with a pistol, killing her on the spot, police said.
"The woman's father has alleged in a complaint that the accused wanted to marry some other woman and Baby was opposing it," a police officer said, adding that the accused was absconding.
