Six children detained for playing on Police Training School grounds
Inspector General BR Meena was reportedly hit by ball, ordered arrest
Children released after over five hours after being 'counselled': Police
The Inspector General of Police posted at the school reportedly ordered that they be "arrested" for using the premises.
The six children were released only after being counselled by the policemen to keep away from the ground and on the intervention of their parents.
The incident took place on Friday when some children were playing in the ground of the PTS and were caught by Inspector General B R Meena, who is posted at the school. Some reports said a ball that children were playing with hit Mr Meena.

The children were released after their parents intervened.
Inspector Civil Lines Brham Pal Singh said six children were detained on the complaint of Mr Meena.
A written complaint had been sent by him demanding that the children be arrested but no action has taken against the detained children because all of them were minors, he said.
Another police officer Sujata Singh said no action was possible against the children as they were juveniles but they were counselled not to come to the police training school area as their games were interrupting police training.
Mr Meena was not available for comment, the Press Trust of India said.
