Arvind Kejriwal's Message To PM Modi On NDA Government's Anniversary

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal launched a scathing attack on PM Modi on Twitter on the occasion of NDA government's second anniversary.

New Delhi: As Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the celebrations for the second anniversary of the NDA government, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal launched a scathing attack on him on Twitter, with a series of nine posts that addressed him personally.

Taking on PM Modi on BJP's promise of corruption-free governance, he tweeted:
Over the last two years, Mr Kejriwal said, minorities, students and Dalits have been targeted while traders, jewellers, businessmen were disappointed and angry with the Centre. The government, he further said, had failed to take action despite the suicide by thousands of farmers.

Hitting out over the imposition of President's Rule in Uttarakhand, he tweeted:
He even targeted the Prime Minister over BJP's promise for new courts, referring to the occasion when Chief Justice of India TS Thakur broke down at a meeting in presence of the Prime Minister, talking about the unprecedented pressure judges in the country face.
Earlier on Thursday, Mr Kejriwal even took on the government over the money it spent on advertisements, alleging the amount was a whopping Rs 1,000 crore. And in the afternoon, after meeting a 13-year-old rape survivor, he said law and order, to be effective, should be under the Delhi government - a subject on which he had clashed with the Centre time and again.

BJP ally Shiv Sena also took on the Narendra Modi government in an editorial in the party mouthpiece Saamna. It targeted the Central schemes and said the government had failed to control inflation and cross border terrorism.
