New Delhi:
An aircraft engineer was de-rostered pending enquiry into the engine of an Air India plane catching fire in Mumbai on Friday morning.
The engineer was responsible for supervising departure of the Riyadh-bound flight, an Air India spokesperson said.
Air India and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation have started investigating into the incident in which 213 passengers escaped unhurt, he said.
