I am a 33 years old male suffering from low sperm count that is below 4 million and motility is 5% only out of total ejaculate. During tests, I came to know that grade-III varicocoele is present in my left testicle for which I underwent microscopic surgery five months back. My present sperm count is 1 million and motile is 5%. Why am I suffering from low sperm count?

I am sorry that your varicocoele surgery did not help with improvement of your sperm count. It is reasonable to wait a few more months to see what happens but you should start planning for an IVF cycle for your wife since the counts are dropping and lower for an IUI cycle.
