I am a 37 years old female weighing 63 kg. I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes two years back. Then, I was placed on Glucophage and Daonil, after that, I began feeling lightheaded, fainting, rapid heartbeats, sweats and restlessness. The doctor told me that I have a low TSH. I also have lost some weight and missed periods for two months. I experienced burning sensation also. What causes sweating and lightheaded with rapid heartbeats?

Your symptoms like lightheaded, fainting, rapid heartbeats, sweats and restless are suggestive of low blood sugar level. Get your blood sugar F & PP done and get dose adjusted. For low TSH, repeat FT4 and TSH after two weeks. It will clarify the true picture.
