It is fallacious to assume that testosterone administration increases sex drive. The hormone is only indicated when there is proven deficiency of the same in the blood and body. In any event it should not be used in people with high blood sugar levels since it can make them worse. Latent diabetes can become overt. In diabetics and pre-diabetics, the lack of sex drive is due to sugar levels and not lack of testosterone.
