New Delhi: Sonakshi Sinha and Sidharth Malhotra have a huge fan following - an indicator of which is the number of times their film Ittefaq's trailer has been viewed on YouTube and Facebook. The trailer of Ittefaq, which is about two murders and two suspects, has been viewed over 11 million times in less than 24 hours. The trailer was released by the makers of the film on Thursday, which is quite intriguing as it tells the story from two perspectives. the film features Sonakshi, Sidharth and Akshaye Khanna in the lead roles. The trailer of murder-mystery Ittefaq features amongst the top trending videos on YouTube and has received brilliant response from the viewers. Ittefaq is an adaptation of a Yash Chopra film by the same name.

Sonakshi, who is one of the suspects in the film, shared her version of truth on Twitter and wrote: "I was alone at home and he forced himself in. Here's my truth."
 

Ittefaq is the remake of 1969 film of the same name, featuring Rajesh Khanna, Nanda and Madan Puri in prominent roles. Sidharth and Sonakshi's film went on floors earlier this year. The murder mystery is co-produced by Karan Johar and B R Films and is directed by B R Chopra's grandson Abhay. The film is scheduled to release on November 3.

Apart from Ittefaq, Sonakshi Sinha will also feature in a sequel to Diana Penty's Happy Bhaag Jaegi while Sidharth Malhotra, who was last seen in A Gentleman, co-starring Jacqueline Fernandez also has Neeraj Pandey's Aiyaary in the pipeline.
