New Delhi:

Highlights

  1. The first poster of the movie looks so much fun
  2. Sonam, Kareena are sporting sherwanis and pagdis in the poster
  3. The movie releases on May 18, next year
Iski Uski, Nachde Ne Saare or Patiala Peg, which song do you think Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor are setting the bhangra mood to? Oh, we are actually talking about the first look poster of Veere Di Wedding - seen it yet? Just like the Veere Di Wedding sneak peek from yesterday, the new one is equally sassy but with dollops of wedding bling. Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania join the Kapoor girls with their own level of swag - umm, Swara is not particularly pleased with the veeres' wedding shenanigans. The new poster arrives with an invitation from Sonam Kapoor: "Saade Veere Di Wedding is fixed. Aana zaroor."

Would you pick a pair of sherwanis foryour best friend's wedding? If yes, would you also like a side of matching pagdi to go with your wardrobe? Sonam, Swara, Shikha and their gang surely would and the new poster is just a glimpse of their gender-bending choices. The wedding drama is reportedly set around Kareena Kapoor's character, whose shaadi countdown is almost about to reach the finish line. Sumeet Vyas plays the would-be-bride's fiance.

Here's how much fun Sonam and Kareena's movie looks. This is just the beginning by the way.

The teaser poster was looked right out of a shaadi scene:

Few of the reasons Veere Di Wedding is much awaited is because a) Sonam and Kareena together for the first time (yay!), b) it's Kareena's first movie after Taimur was born last year and c) it looks so much fun!

Directed by Shashanka Ghosh and produced by Rhea Kapoor, the wait for Veere Di Wedding will be over on May 18, 2018.
