Ranveer Singh is on cloud nine and understandably so. The actor recently had a unique experience when he made an appearance at the National Basketball Association's (NBA) All-Star Celebrity Game. The game was held in Cleveland, Ohio and saw Ranveer Singh brushing shoulders with prominent names from the world of sports and entertainment. The actor is the current ambassador for NBA India and was seen alongside celebrities such as Machine Gun Kelly, Matt James, Jimmie Allen in the game over the weekend. He also got the chance to meet several greats of the game. One such meeting that was undoubtedly special for the actor was with ace basketball player, LeBron James.
In an image shared by the actor on Instagram, Ranveer Singh is seen bumping fists with the Los Angeles Lakers player. In the caption, Ranveer Singh wrote, “The King and I! What a precious moment,” tagging the player.
Replying to the post, host-comedienne Lilly Singh said, “Legends.” Actor Tiger Shroff wrote, “Legendary moment.”
The official page of NBA India also chipped in and said, “When Singh met King.” Actor Siddhanth Kapoor said, “Wow he is like 45 feet tall,” with laughing emojis. Photographer Rohan Shrestha, who was present with Ranveer Singh at Ohio, said, “Lifetime shot.”
Looking back at the experience, Ranveer Singh shared that it has been one of the “greatest weekends” of his life. He described it as an “unforgettable experience” with a “wealth of precious moments.”
Ranveer Singh also shared a bunch of pictures on Instagram Stories with several legends of the game. The actor shared a photo with former basketball player David Robinson and said, “The Admiral.”
Ranveer Singh also shared a photo with former player Shaquille O'Neal and wrote, “Big. Daddy. Diesel.”
He posted an image with ace player Isaiah Thomas and said, “What an honour meeting Isaiah Thomas.”
Ranveer Singh interacted with veteran actor Bill Murray as well. He said in a note, “Sharing a light moment with the acclaimed thespian, the inimitable Bill Murray.”
A day ago, Ranveer Singh posted a photo of himself on the basketball court and said, “Just keep dreaming,” with a basketball emoji.
In another set of pictures -- in which he is seen practising on the court -- Ranveer Singh said, “Ball is life.”
Ranveer Singh had announced that he would be part of the All-Star Celebrity Game in a post shared a week ago. In it, he wrote, “Now this is what dreams are made of! Thrilled to be a part of the 2022 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game in Cleveland.”
On the work front, Ranveer Singh will be seen in Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Cirkus and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani.
