Actress Ileana D'Cruz announced today that she will soon be welcoming her first child – unsurprisingly, the comments thread on her Instagram post exploded and not in a good way. While the Barfi star's family and friends shared congratulatory messages, many responses ranged from curiosity at best to condemnation at worst. Ileana posted two photos this morning – the first of a baby's romper with the slogan “And so the adventure begins” and the second of a pendant of the word “Mama.” In her caption, Ileana D'Cruz wrote: “Coming soon. Can't wait to meet you my little darling.”
Soon after, Ileana's post was flooded with comments speculating about the identity of the father. To be clear, Ileana has not revealed if she is pregnant or adopting. The comments thread is filled with variations on “Who is the father” and “When did you marry?” One went as far as to say: “”Wasn't she dating Katrina's brother? Does that mean Kat is going to be an aunt?”
Happily, many comments have jumped to Ileana's defence, reminding those asking about the baby daddy to mind their own business. “Mentally ill society,” read one indignant comment. “She doesn't have to reveal everything, it's her choice,” read another.
Meantime, Ileana D'Cruz's sister Farrah wrote, “So excited! Cannot wait.” Mother Samira wrote, “Welcome soon to the world my new grand baby.” Malaika Arora and Athiya Shetty left hearts in the comments and Shibani Dandekar wrote, “Congratulations my love, this is amazing news.”

Ileana D'Cruz is rumoured to be dating Katrina Kaif's brother Sebastian Laurent Michel. The actress was part of Katrina's birthday celebrations in the Maldives.
In an episode of the popular chat show Koffee With Karan, when host Karan Johar asked Katrina Kaif, "There are some other Bollywood inclusions in the family like Ileana but we don't have to confirm that." He added, "But on a Maldives trip we saw some images came out and I was like doing the Math in my head like these two meet for the first time in a party and that moves fast as well."
To this, Katrina Kaif replied, "Karan sees everything. Karan's eyes don't miss anything."
