Huma Qureshi has shared a behind-the-scenes moment from the sets of Toxic that left her impressed by Kiara Advani's commitment to the film. The actress opened up about shooting a rain sequence with Kiara while the latter was pregnant.
Huma spoke about the experience at the Toxic pre-release event in Chennai. Before sharing the story, she made it clear that there were no spoilers involved. “Guys, I have to say a few things about Kiara, it's not spoiler.”
The actress then took the audience back to one of the film's rain-heavy scenes. According to Huma, the shoot involved the actors getting completely drenched. For her, the conditions were far from easy as she was dealing with a bad headache at the time.
However, Kiara's presence on set made Huma think twice before complaining about the situation.
“But, there was a scene where we were a part of, there was a lot of rain involved,” Huma said. She then recalled Kiara's condition during the shoot. “And, she (Kiara) was just about to have her baby. And we were getting drenched in the rain and I had a terrible headache.”
Huma said that she found herself wanting to complain several times during the shoot. But every time she looked at Kiara, she felt encouraged to continue.
“Every single time I wanted to complain I would look at her and, you know she was what she 6 months?, almost pregnant,” Huma said. Kiara also nodded in agreement when Huma mentioned that she was around six months pregnant.
Huma went on to praise her co-star for staying focused through the demanding scene. “And, she was just standing there doing that scene. Standing like a rock. Just looking at her I was like, ‘Oh my god, that is so inspiring.'”
She ended the sweet moment by telling Kiara, “I love you loads.”

Kiara Advani, who got married to Sidharth Malhotra in February 2023, welcomed a daughter named Saraayah in July 2025.
Coming back to Toxic, the film is directed by Geetu Mohandas and stars Yash in a dual role. Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth are also part of the cast. The film is scheduled for worldwide release on August 26.
