Solo-hero films are essential career booster, says Tusshar

Mumbai: Actor Tusshar Kapoor, who has tastedfame with multi-hero projects, admits that the success of asolo-hero film is an important career booster.

"Solo-hero films are essential..However, what matters isthe dedication and conviction with which you carry off yourrole.. whether a solo hero movie or a multi-starrer. Pressuresare the same in either format," Tusshar said in an interview.

The 33-year-old actor, who is known for his perfect-comictiming, is currently working on Rajshri banner's Love U MrKalakar with Amrita Rao.

"It is 70 per cent complete and is slated for a February2011 release. It is my favourite solo hero film," he saidadding the film was his solo movie after a long time.

Tusshar is also all geared up for Golmaal 3 whichreleases on November 5.

"Golmaal is more than just a masala comedy. It has gotlots of style and action with memorable characters. Golmaalhad my character Lucky with speech disability as a lovableprankster. In Golmaal Returns, there is little innocence tohim. Here, he is a brother and wants to protect his family."

"In Golmaal 3, the audience will see Lucky's rough side,the anger and emotional side of him.. He says what he feels.But at the same time, he is cute and lovable," Tusshar said.

"To potray the roughness and agressiveness in thecharacter, we had to keep the sound sharp and alert. I had toensure that the sound does not look forced," the actor saidadding that Golmaal 3 is a completely new story.

"The names of the characters are same. But, therelationship between them is different. Kunal Khemu and MithunChakravborty join the cast for this movie," he said.

Shot completely in Goa, Tushar said working on Golmaal3 was a like a paid vacation. "The set up is the same. It wassheer enjoyment working with friends."

Golmaal director Rohit Shetty will also helm a film forTushar's home banner Balaji Telefilms. "I am part of theproject. the script is ready and the film is underpre-production," he said.

The actor's other home production Shor is complete andready for a March 2011 release . He is currently working onRun Bhola Run with Govinda and Ameesha Patel and Hum TumAur Shabana with Shreyas Talpade and Minnisha Lamba.
