New Delhi: It's Throwback Thursday and so, Union Minister Smriti Irani's husband Zubin Irani shared an old picture of the actress-turned-politician on Instagram. It is just pure gold. (Yes, trust us). The picture is a close shot of Smriti Irani, in which she looks straight into the camera and seems to be taken during her modelling days. "Smriti in her early days," Mr Irani captioned the post, adding a heart emoticon. Soon, Smriti Irani re-posted her picture with an interesting caption. "The keeper of all my secrets is letting them out 1 by 1 on Insta," she wrote. (Smriti Irani, we are glad he did).

The picture, shared by Ms Irani just three hours ago, has got over 3,500 likes and counting. "She is so gorgeous, I have always admired her wit and knowledge," "Wow," are some of the comments on the picture but our favourite is - "Oh wow purani Tulsi aa gayi"

Smriti Irani made her television debut with Ekta Kapoor's Kyun Ki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi in 2001. She is best-known for her character Tulsi Virani. She married businessman Zubin Irani in 2001. Smriti Irani has also been part of shows like Hum Hain Kal Aaj Aur Kal, Ramayan, Thodi Si Zameen Thoda Sa Aasmaan and Virrudh.

Smriti Irani joined politics in 2003 and in 2014, she was inducted in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's union cabinet. She is the current Information and Broadcasting and Textiles Minister in the Government of India.
