Actress Shruti Haasan, who has wrapped up the shooting of Tigmanshu Dhulia's
Yaara, said that she feels fortunate to have worked with the acclaimed filmmaker so early in her career.
"It has been wonderful working with Tigmanshu sir. I'm happy that he gave me such a great role to play. I'm lucky to work with him so early in my career," Shruti said.
Tigmanshu has also acted in films, and Shruti said that is a bonus for him as a director.
"Since he is such a fine actor, he understands both mediums really well. So he can put across his vision better. And acting according to those instructions was challenging, but fun," she added.
Shruti has mixed feelings about the conclusion of the film's shoot.
"I feel sad that the journey has ended. It's been wonderful working on
Yaara, and playing a beautiful role."
Yaara, a friendship drama, also stars Vidyut Jammwal and Amit Sadh in lead roles.
