director Madhur Bhandarkar believes that the sensational Sheena Bora murder case can become the plot of a film.
"As a filmmaker this case definitely evokes interest. The case can become a plot for any film. However, it will be too early to say whether I am going to make a movie on the issue," Mr Bhandarkar told reporters at the Indore Press Club on September 13.
The 47-year-old director is known to make movies on interesting social issues.
Some of his popular films include
Heroine, Chandni Bar, Fashion and
Corporate.
"I have understood this case a little, through news channels. During the investigation, new revelations are happening daily," he said.
"My films present all facts before the audience. I being a director do not want to make the audience judgemental in the climax," the
Heroine director added.
His upcoming movie
Calender Girls will hit screens on September 25.
