In TMK, he features in the
Wallah Re Wallah song with Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. He plays himself in
Isi Life Mein which features debutants Akshay Oberoi and Sandeepa Dhar.
As there was a buzz that Sallu would do a cameo in TMK, Farah thought of approaching him.
As she maintains, "I met him during a TV show and told him, 'I am fed-up of people saying you are doing the song, why don't you do it?' and he agreed. It was as simple as that. Then I designed the song to suit him."
In his special appearance in the
Wallah Re Wallah song, Salman and Akshay Kumar fight over Katrina Kaif but both lose her and start gyrating to their towel dance from
Mujhse Shaadi Karogi!
Isi Life Mein marks the directorial debut of Vidhi Kasliwal, niece of Sooraj Barjatya. Salman's association with the Barjatyas goes over two decades back - since his
Maine Pyar Kiya days with the filmmaker.
As a result, Salman readily agreed to do the cameo.
