This doesn't mean that Pattinson will not appear in the future.
The series is entering its final season following the finale on Sunday.
As for Pattinson's potential role, it seemed to suit his brand of humor - he was supposedly going to play one of Hollywood agent Ari Gold's toughest clients. During many of his publicity appearances for films over the years, the 24-year-old British actor has joked and made fun of himself on a regular basis.
