- The couple, who started their career together eight years ago with Tujhe Mere Kasam, spent an evening with the Jawans at their battalion camp in the national capital.
- Dressed in a green Anarkali suit, 24-year old Genelia along with her husband and co-star Riteish sang songs from the movie and dedicated it to the Jawans, who guard the icy heights along country's frontier with China.
- Deshmukh who is famous for his comic timings said he felt small in front of Jawans. "We are really small in front of you. I am too small to even praise you. It's because of you all that we are safe in our country", he said.
- "The contribution of Jawans to the nation is great. You sacrifice your life for the nation. We can only try to entertain you," Deshmukh added.
