On July 5, actors Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma introduced Aadar Jain and Anya Singh at an event hosted by Yash Raj Films (YRF) in Mumbai.
Aadar Jain will be the fifth Kapoor of his generation to enter the film industry after his cousins Karisma, Kareena, Ranbir Kapoor and elder brother Armaan Jain.
In a recent interview with news agency PTI, Aadar Jain spoke about his debut film."I had not thought about it as an unconventional film and that's why I did it. This is a kind of film that I would like to watch. It is refreshing, new and a story not told before," PTI quoted Aadar as saying.
Qaidi Band is scheduled to release in theatres on August 25.
