Poster Boys Won't 'Embarrass' The Audience, Says Shreyas Talpade

New Delhi: Actor Shreyas Talpade will debut as a director with the release of Poster Boys, featuring himself and the Deol brothers - Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. Poster Boys is based on the subject of vasectomy, which is still considered as a taboo in the Indian society. However, Shreyas says that his film is for the family audiences and no one would be 'embarrassed,' reports news agency PTI. "It's a full-fledged family film. It has got U/A certification. And I can assure that people won't find anything wrongful in the film. I'm sure that they won't be embarrassed to see this film with their families," the 41-year-old-actor said.

Of his stint in direction, Sheryas said that it was pre-decided and the response the Marathi version of the film got prompted him to direct Poster Boys. The film is a remake of Poshter Boyz (Marathi), which released in 2014 and was produced by Sheryas. "It was only because of the reaction we got from the audience that we started writing it in Hindi. The response to the Marathi film was overwhelming," he told PTI.

Shreyas further revealed that he only wanted to cast Sunny Deol inPoster Boys. "I never thought I would make my directorial debut with this film. I just wanted Sunny sir to be a part of the Hindi version of this film so I straightaway went to him and narrated the story," he said.

Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan also rooted for Poster Boys and tweeted.



Poster Boys is set to hit the screens this Friday.
