- The tees reading My Friend Anna, are scheduled to be distributed among people at the Ramlila Grounds, where Hazare is currently fasting besides several other parts of the country including Mumbai.
- The makers of the film have also made a poster with slogan My Friend Anna, where lead actor Prateik is seen wearing the T-shirt with the statement.
- The idea was triggered by a post on UTV Motion Picture's Facebook page of the film.
- "One fan had uploaded a poster he had made....that read My Friend Anna on the Facebook page of My Friend Pinto. Looking at the response that we have got from the fans on this slogan My Friend Anna, we decided to make and distribute T-shirts gauging the popular sentiment associated with it," Shikha Kapur, Senior VP - Marketing, UTV Motion Pictures, said, in a statement.
- Directed by Raghav Dar My Friend Pinto is all set to release on October 14 and stars Kalki Koechlin, Manisha Koirala, Naseruddin Shah, Divya Dutta and Makrand Deshpande besides Prateik.
