Actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee has revealed the identity of the "mysterious man" (her words) she married yesterday, surprising her fans and the Internet. "The mysterious man, the famous 'Shonu' and tum sab ka jija (your brother-in-law)," Devoleena signed off a post on Instagram announcing her wedding. A second post shared in collaboration with a wedding clothing handle shows an emotional Devoleena clinging tearfully to her new husband; the caption of the post identifies him as her "bae Shahnawaz." According to various media reports, Devoleena's "mysterious man" is her fitness trainer Shahnawaz Shaikh. See the post here:
In her wedding announcement, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, best known for her work on the show Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, shared pictures of herself and Shahnawaz in their finery. "And yes proudly I can say I am taken and yes shonu. Chiraag lekar bhi dhoondti toh tujh jaisa nahi milta. You are the answer of my pain & prayers. I love you Shonu. Lots of love to you all. Previous to confirming that she had married Shahnawaz, Devoleena posted photos of herself in her bridal look, leaving the Internet confused. It was unclear if she was actually getting married – a while ago, Devoleena and her Saath Nibhaana Saathiya co-star Vishal Singh triggered wedding rumours with what appeared to be a proposal; it later turned out that they were shooting a music video.
This time round, it was a real wedding and Vishal Singh was one of the guests. "I don't have words to tell you what you mean to me . Wish you guys all the love n luck for a new beginning. I am so lucky to have you in my life and for all the fans Devish forever, love you both," he captioned a picture with Devoleena.
A second wedding photo showed him with Devoleena after the wedding ceremony had been completed.
Apart from Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, Devoleena Bhattacharjee also participated on the 13th season of Bigg Boss.
