Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan's
Kedarnathgoes on the floors today. To make the occasion special, the makers of the film released the first poster of the film today. The poster of
Kedarnath looks divine, which says 'love is a pilgrimage.' Directed by Abhishek Kapoor,
Kedarnath's story is set against the holy temple of Kedarnath in Uttarakhand, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. In the poster, Shiva's idol and Kedarnath temple can be seen half submerged in water. In the the background, a silhouette of a man can be seen kissing a woman's forehead and the Himalayan peaks are also visible.
Sushant Singh shared the poster of the film on Instagram and wrote: "A journey of faith and love. Come join us with
Kedarnath first look."
Earlier in August, Abhishek Kapoor shared the motion poster of
Kedarnath on Twitter and wrote: "To new beginnings." Watch the motion poster of

On Monday, Abhishek Kapoor who has directed Sushant in
Kai Po Che! praised the actor and wrote: "Discovered this thunderstorm of an actor in
Kai Po Che! and this time he's harder hungrier and even better prepped."
Sushant replied and wrote: "I just can't wait to relive the magic with you once again chief !!
Jai Bholenath."
In the film, the 31-year-old actor will be seen portraying the role of a pithu, who carries pilgrims to the shrine.
Sara will play the role of a young woman, who will be accompanying a pilgrim to Kedarnath. Sara is the daughter of Saif Ali Khan and his first wife Amrita Singh. Her younger brother is Ibrahim Ali Khan, 19.
The film is reported to release in Summers next year.
